IVE Inc. Software Solutions is the Philippine branch of Egemco Co., Ltd. (South Korea). We build internal business software, including BI dashboards, ERP, and sales modules, used by real teams in Korea.
As a QA Intern, you will be testing software that ships. Not a sandbox project, and not a mock app made for interns.
What you will do
- Write test cases from feature specs and Jira tickets
- Execute those test cases against live builds and record the results
- File bugs in Jira with clear reproduction steps, expected versus actual behavior, and screenshots
- Retest fixes and verify them before release
- Keep test documentation up to date as features change
You will work directly with the developers who wrote the code, and your bug reports go into the same Jira board the team works from.
What we are looking for
- Currently enrolled and eligible for OJT or internship credit
- Careful and specific in writing. A good bug report is mostly clear writing
- Willing to ask questions when something looks wrong instead of assuming it is fine
- No prior QA experience required. We will teach you the process
Nice to have
- Any exposure to Jira, test case management, or bug tracking
- Basic understanding of how web applications work
- Interest in how software gets built and released
Internship details
- Start date: As soon as your school paperwork is cleared
- Allowance: PHP 150 per day
- Schedule: Full time, onsite. Come in any time between 7:30 and 8:30 AM
- Hours: We follow your school's required OJT hours
